The Sunday Times has announced that celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has joined The Sunday Times Magazine.

Jamie Oliver joins The Sunday Times

To launch the new partnership, The Sunday Times ran a food-only 72-page edition of its Magazine on November 2. The one-off edition featured an interview with Jamie Oliver by AA Gill and 20 pages of recipes. Jamie picked his favourite ever dishes including salted-caramel chocolate brownies and a super-arrabiata chilli pasta.

The Magazine will run six Jamie recipes every week for the remainder of the month as part of the paper’s Food Season. The Sunday Times cook Gizzi Erskine will also continue to provide recipes every week.

The Sunday Times describes itself as ‘now a multi-platform publication’ and has launched a Food Season section for the tablet edition, which contains its top 100 restaurants and top restaurants for under £20 and an interactive map, plus all of Gizzi and Jamie’s recipes.

Eleanor Mills, editorial director of The Sunday Times, said: “We’re thrilled that Jamie Oliver is joining The Sunday Times. He is a massive favourite with our readers and will bring his verve and knack for creating delicious, easy food to

our appreciative audience every week.”

The Sunday Times Magazine will run recipes from Jamie and Gizzi every week, alongside AA Gill’s restaurant reviews. The Sunday Times has also teamed up with Jamie to provide a special offer at Jamie’s Italian: a three course menu will be available to Sunday Times readers for £20 during November.
