It’s official: Caverswall China is fit for a prince

Caverswall China has been awarded a Royal Warrant as a supplier of pottery to Prince Charles.
The company, which is based in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, is the first pottery in 10 years to be granted the royal seal of approval. It will now be entitled to reproduce the Prince of Wales feathers on its backstamp, marketing material and stationery.

Caverswall China produces commemorative wares for royal events, and also specialises in high-priced bespoke items for the rich and famous. Its customers have included Sir Paul Getty, Sir Elton John and Tina Turner.

The company employs 20 people and has sales of around £1m, and is now expecting the Royal Warrant to boost export sales as it breaks into the Japanese and Middle Eastern markets.
