Industry association offers grants for UK exporters

The Shop and Display Equipment Association (SDEA) is offering grants to UK companies in the retail display industry to help them boost exports through exhibiting at EuroShop 2017 in Düsseldorf.

A total of 30 grants of £1,500 each are available through the Association to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) taking on the government’s challenge to double exports by 2020.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the government organisation providing the funding, which encourages UK businesses to exhibit at selected overseas trade shows to increase their export potential.

SDEA director Lawrence Cutler commented “It’s generally accepted that the UK is the destination of choice for the world’s leading retail brands.  That didn’t happen without the support of an established industry of world class retail display designers, manufacturers and suppliers whose mission is to create the inspiring retail environments for which we are well known.  EuroShop gives us an ideal platform to show off that talent and the help from UKTI makes it achievable.”

Details of the grants and how to apply for them are available from SDEA.  Contact enquiries@sdea.co.uk for information.
