Imperial relaunches colourful Vivaware

As highlighted on its stand at this year’s Exclusively Housewares, Imperial International is reintroducing the Vivaware brand of colourful enamelled steel cookware to the UK.

Imperial relaunches colourful Vivaware

Well known in the UK up to the late 1990s, Vivaware – manufactured by Spanish company San Ignacio – was stocked by many leading housewares retailers and department stores and generated in excess of £5m at its peak.

Imperial says that, as a specialist in enamelled steel cookware, San Ignacio has perfected manufacturing techniques that ensure strength and durability along with scratch and temperature resistance. The products also feature a dual layer of Teflon non-stick.

The use of enamelled steel also allows the cookware to be used on the widest selection of heat sources, including induction.

Imperial is initially making four colours available: red, teal blue, orange and green. The range is targeted at cookshops, department stores and lifestyle retailers.
