The International Hardware Association 2009 Congress to be held later this year in London has secured a number of heavyweight speakers.
The event marks the centenary of the association, and this year is being organised by BHF Group.
Speakers will include Mark Berrisford-Smith, a senior economist with HSBC, who will deliver his view on the current financial climate and of the economic future; Belinda Fletcher of Greenpeace; Matt Sexton, corporate responsibility director of B&Q, who will talk about how the company is developing from a worldwide perspective and reacting to changing customer demands; and Margaret Gooch of Calor. With over 20 years’ experience as an HR professional, she will demonstrate how to reduce employee turnover and improve the quality of new recruits.
