The Ideal Home Show has been sold by DMG World Media to events and publishing company Media 10.
It is the first time in the show’s 101-year history that its ownership has changed hands.
Media 10 was formed six years ago and is best known for the Grand Designs Live events. The acquisition of the Ideal Home Show, for an undisclosed sum, gives Media 10 the largest home interest event portfolio in the UK. Having built the Grand Designs Live shows from a standing start in 2005, the company now runs three home interest exhibitions a year in the UK, attracting some 500,000 visitors.
The Ideal Home Show regularly attracts over 250,000 visitors every year, and will run from March 20 to April 5 next year at Earl’s Court, London
