Google shows that in the month to yesterday, November 9, the number of unique visitors to the site rose by 21% to 15,984, visits by 19% to 19,343 and page views by 22% to 49,672, compared with the previous month.

Jane Oliphant, editor of, commented: “The popularity of the website has grown enormously since its launch in 2007, as evidenced by the fact that our viewing figures have risen continuously.

“ is now unquestionably the leading source of business news and information for the housewares industry, with many thousands more readers than any housewares print medium.

“The latest rise in our audience figures comes shortly after the launch of our new look on October 19, so it couldn’t be more obvious that the redesigned pages and new features have proved a real winner.”

The across-the-board rise in visitors, visits and page views comes just three months after the website recorded a similar upsurge in users of the site.

In the full year to August 3 the number of visitors rose 31.71% to 11,540, visits 54.08% to 17,553 and page views 72.59% to 44,956.

The latest figures show that in the three months since then the number of visitors to the site has risen by a massive 38.5%.

Oliphant added that newcomers to should remember to register on the site.
