Housewares products sale raises almost £2,500 for Rainy Day Trust

Products entered for The Housewares Innovation Awards 2018 have helped raise much-needed funds for industry charity the Rainy Day Trust.

Many housewares companies that submitted product entries to The Housewares Innovation Awards 2018 chose not to have them returned but instead agreed to donate them to a sale at Datateam Business Media – the Awards organiser and publisher of HousewaresLive.net and ‘Housewares Magazine’.

The sale raised a total of £2,450 from Datateam Business Media staff, with all monies raised going to the charity.

Datateam Business Media extends its thanks to all those companies that donated products to support this very worthy cause.

*There is still time to submit entries to The Housewares Innovation Awards 2019. The annual Awards programme is divided into product and retailer categories.

Supplier Categories: to enter a product range into any of these categories, it must have launched in the period September 2017-September 2018.

The categories are: Bakeware Innovation Award, Cookware Innovation Award, Food Preparation Innovation Award, Kitchenware Innovation Award, Packaging Innovation Award, Small Electricals Innovation Award, Sugarcraft Innovation Award, Tabletop Innovation Award – plus Best Supplier Service Award and Best Housewares Salesperson Award

Retailer Categories: Britain’s Best Independent Department Store Award, Britain’s Best In-Store Demonstrations Award, Britain’s Best Multiple Housewares Retailer Award, Britain’s Best Online Retailer Award, Britain’s Best Staff Training Award, Britain’s Best Wholesaler Award, Britain’s Best Window Display Award, Britain’s Best Retailer Service Award, Britain’s Best Family Business Award, Britain’s Best Garden Centre Award, Britain’s Best Housewares Retail Buyer Award, Britain’s Best Housewares Retail Website Award and Britain’s Best Independent Cookshop Award
