Housewares Nov/Dec issue out now!

The joint November/December issue of Housewares is now available to read online.

As we close the door on another year of unique challenges, and with yet another scandal rocking trust in our government, it would be easy to go into 2022 with a negative outlook.

However, as Eddingtons’ Roger Murphy commented in his ‘On the Board’ thought piece (page 30), it will be the “individual and collective ingenuity” of the housewares industry that will continue to see us through.

The trade has weathered price increases, freight issues and stock shortages in order to supply its customers this past year. I’m still only a newcomer to this industry, but it’s abundantly clear that this industry is resilient and determined, and will weather the challenges ahead just as it has all those past.

This issue is jam-packed with insights into a range of product sectors, both up-and-coming and classic consumer favourites – including Cookware, ‘Colour in the Home’, Tools & Gadgets and Woodware.

Elsewhere in the issue you’ll find, as always, our regular news, views and product pages, showcasing the latest from market-leading housewares brands across the sector.

I’ll close by wishing all our readers a happy festive season, and a successful and prosperous year ahead.

Bryony Andrews, editor.
