Housewares names to exhibit at The London Coffee Festival

The countdown is on for The London Coffee Festival, which aims to commemorate the capital’s ‘bustling and vibrant coffee scene’.

Organised by Allegra Events, the Festival takes place at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane in London’s East End from April 7 to April 10. There are two trade only days (April 7-8) April and two consumer days (April 9-10).

Last year, 23,642 visitors attended the event and as many as 35,000 are expected to join the celebrations next month.

Highlights include tastings, demonstrations from world-class baristas, interactive workshops, live music, DJs, coffee-based cocktails and a display of coffee related-equipment.

The list of housewares exhibitors includes Aerolatte, Beam, Brita, De’Longhi, Dualit, EcoCoffee Cup, Jura, KeepCup,Magicup and Sage by Heston Blumenthal,

Krups will also be attendance, via its recommended distributor Beam. On show on the Beam stand will be Krups’ flagship model EA9010 Bean to Cup machine (pictured).

This fully automated machine offers a menu of 17 one-touch hot drinks inspired by coffee houses across the Dominik Pytel, marketing director of Groupe SEB, said: “With our top-of-the-range EA9010, we are turning the customer’s home into the world’s finest coffee bar.

“We want to transport customers to Sicily when they drink a Doppio, New York when they enjoy a RedEye or Germany when they sip their Milchkaffee.
