The Housewares Innovation Awards also give retailers the opportunity to nominate someone for the accolade Housewares Salesperson of the Year. The deadline for all entries is January 9.
The awards form part of the newly-launched Housewares Conference & Innovation Awards event on March 27 2012 at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire – a day that will combine the awards ceremony with an impressive line-up of speakers, all content being tailored exclusively for the members of the housewares industry.
There are three main elements to the awards. The Retail Innovation Awards will honour the very best housewares retailers, from independent cookshops up to department stores and major multiples. There is also a Rising Star Award for the best new housewares retail business.
We want to hear about anything or everything that makes a retailer special, be it customer service, a new website, an ad campaign, a refurbishment, a new branch, and so on.
Suppliers entering the Housewares Innovation Awards have five categories to choose from: cookware & bakeware, small electrical, foodprep, kitchenware and tableware. And, again we want to see products that are innovative, stylish, that work well and, above all, that have captured customers’ imaginations.
There is a chance for an outstandingly helpful or efficient supplier’s sales rep, agent or account manager to be recognised too by the Housewares Salesperson of the Year award. Retailers – here is your opportunity to applaud them.
