Housewares highlights at Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival

Upcoming trade show Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival is all about ‘new, bigger, better’, according to organiser Clarion Events.

Taking place from July 17-20 in the North Yorkshire town of Harrogate, more than 200 of the 850-plus exhibitors are making their debut at the event this year.

New brands include Artisan Life Ltd, Bespoke Verse, Chau Art Ltd, Dapper & Frill, GALL & ZICK, KAKKOii, Lancaster and Gibbings, Laura Skilbeck, Lene Lundberg, Lisa Angel LTD, Portico Designs, Ruff and Tumble, Su Owen Design, Terrarium Designs, Thinkgadgets and Vintage Poultry Ltd.

Alongside this fresh line-up, visitors will see exclusive new product launches from regular exhibitors such as Joe Davies, Garden Trading, Wild & Wolf, Voyage Decoration Ltd and Gisela Graham.

Here are some housewares highlights:

Portmeirion (Stand M2): Making its debut at Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival is the Ted Baker Portmeirion cutlery collection: a rose gold effect, stainless steel cutlery set that features a porcelain handle decorated with a rose motif. New designs from Hannah Dale, the artist behind Wrendale Designs, who draws inspiration from her native Lincolnshire countryside, will also be launched.

The Great British Exchange (Stand DP2-35): Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge has been working with The Great British Exchange to develop a range of British-made housewares products. The collection, from the host of BBC2’s ‘Bake Off: Crème De La Crème’ includes knives, pans, ceramics, wood and textiles. The products will be launching exclusively at Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival.

Garden Trading (Stand M3):  Hoxton, Greenwich and Putney are new lighting ranges that will be launched by Garden Trading. Its fireside collection will also be expanded with new colour and material options.

Churchill China (Stand M26): The Stoke-on-Trent company will present Autumn-Winter 2016 product launches including brand new collections, Bramble & Rocket and The In Crowd. Churchill will also be celebrating a decade of collaboration with artist Alex Clark.
