Housewares distributor Hot Plate Products will rebrand to nixxee on January 1.
Nixxee is a new trade-only distribution platform for houseware brands in the UK and across Europe. It has retained all of the brands that were in the Hot Plate Products portfolio including Bialetti and Barista & Co.
Hot Plate Products will remain as the new product development part of the company and will introduce new products and brands in 2017 and 2018, all of which will be distributed in the UK through nixxee.
James Gray, managing director of Hot Plate Products, said: “We want to be at the forefront in supporting modern retailers, and our new brand and platform is about using technology to get the best possible results for our customers.”
He added: “Of course, you can’t forget the personal touch, so we are also adding to our team to get closer to our customers. We will certainly not be online only.”
Next month’s Top Drawer Spring/Summer 2017 exhibition in London will be the first show under the new format and nixxee will be launching Rivers Drinkware there, as well as more than 100 new products.
Nixxee will exhibit in the Home section of the show on stand: H23. Trade buyers to the event, which takes place from January 15 to January 17 at Olympia, are invited to register for free at www.topdrawer.co.uk
