Housewares supplier Horwood Homewares has announced that TTK Prestige Ltd has acquired 100% of the share capital of Silampos UK, the parent company of Horwood Homewares.
Founded by William Joseph Horwood in in 1896, Bristol-based Horwood Homewares manufactures and imports cookware, knives, cutlery, bakeware, tools and gadgets, small kitchen electricals, coffee and teaware, tableware and flasks using its own brands: Stellar, Judge, and Horwood.
Horwood Homewares sales director Jeremy Horwood, who is the fourth generation member of the Horwood family, welcomed TTK as Horwood Homewares’ partner.
He said: “This is the next stage in Horwood’s development, started by my great grandfather in 1896.
“The link up with TTK Prestige is the coming together of family companies with similar high values around employee wellbeing, customer service and quality.
“Both companies will improve as a result of this new relationship, and our customers and the buying public will be the beneficiaries.”
