Home Hardware Southwest pays £189,000 to its members

Home Hardware Southwest recently paid £189,000 to its members in the form of dividends and rebates.

David Adams, chairman of the dealer-owned wholesaler, said: “We are always delighted to pay our members rebates to further reward the loyalty, commitment and support they give to Home Hardware. We also appreciate the support we receive from our suppliers, which has helped make this possible.”

Chief executive Martin Elliott added: “The ‘Home Reward’ rebate programme further recognises our retailers’ commitment to Home Hardware. The increased level of support, for both warehouse and direct shipment purchases, has enabled us to increase the rebate payments this year. The more our members order, the more efficient it becomes, enabling us to return these savings to them.”

Home Hardware Southwest bills itself as the largest voluntary organisation of its kind in the UK for independently-owned hardware and DIY stores. The company has more than 400 members including cookshops, housewares stores, hardware retailers, ironmongers and garden centres.
