Home Hardware congratulates Barrettine

Supplier Barrettine Group, which is celebrating over 140 years in business, has received a commemorative vase from wholesaler Home Hardware to mark the company’s milestone.

The vase was presented to Barrettine UK sales director Phillip Gibbons by Home Hardware chairman David Adams during Home Hardware’s annual Convention, held at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel in Devon on November 16.

Established in 1879, Barrettine has a long history of producing chemical products. As well as a large range of products under the Barrettine label, it also manufactures several of Home Hardware’s own-label products.

Home Hardware has dealt with Barrettine for over 40 years. Home Hardware’s account was originally opened by Alan Emery and the company was the second recipient of Home Hardware’s Supplier of the Year Award in 1997.

Home Hardware ceo Martin Elliott said: “We are delighted to recognise our long association and their fantastic achievement to the industry.”
