Heston services roadside restaurants

Outlandish chef Heston Blumenthal has signed a two-year deal with Channel 4 to present a series of programmes.

Fresh from his role in the BBC’s In Search of Perfection series, he will now be seen trying to revive the fortunes of the ailing Little Chef roadside restaurant chain.

Blumenthal will also revive a series of historical dishes in Feast With Heston Blumenthal, and present a Christmas special.

Meanwhile, Channel 4 has commissioned a further series of Gordon Ramsay’s F-Word.
