Heston launches Eggstraordinary Easter product for Waitrose

New from Waitrose this Easter is the ‘Heston from Waitrose’ Eggstraordinary Dippy Easter Egg.

Since 2010, Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal has been working closely with an expert team at Waitrose to develop the ‘Heston From Waitrose’  product range. The ‘Heston from Waitrose’ Eggstraordinary Dippy Easter Egg is the latest creation.

The dark chocolate Easter egg is made using 65% cocoa before being coated in white chocolate and hand sprayed with speckles to resemble the style of a hen’s egg. Inside the Easter egg are mini milk chocolate fleur de sel caramel eggs, made to appear like a song thrush bird’s blue egg shells.

The supermarket chain said: ‘Bite the end off each caramel mini egg and dip it into the edible soil for the ultimate eating experience.’

The edible soil is a blitzed blend of caramelised cocoa nibs, freeze dried passion fruit and creamy white chocolate flakes.

The Heston from Waitrose Eggstraordinary Dippy Easter Egg will retail at £20.
