A trolley in seconds
The 12 models in JWP’s new Oasis Concepts trolleys have a hinged frame, so will fold up or fold away in seconds and store easily in minimal space in the garage or shed. The Entertainer, shown, is made in hevea wood, with a parquet butcher’s block top, middle-shelf wine rack for 10 bottles and slots to hold 12 wine glasses. It has solid brass hinges and chrome locking castors for easily mobility, and folds to 14cm width.
It all comes together for picnics
This year sees the launch of DNC’s first coordinated picnic and patioware range, Summer Dining. In duck egg blue, turquoise, pink and lime, it teams up with the Polar Gear picnic coolers. The initial products are patterned plates, bowls, all-over print hi-ball and tumbler, pitcher, salad servers and tinted soda glasses. The cool bag range consists of family cooler, six-can cooler, stripe fleece rug with matching bottle wraps and lunch coolers.
Sleek new idea for outdoor heating
Heatstrips from Direct Designs are a new concept in outdoor heating. The high-intensity radiant heaters have sleek, long-surface panels in black anodised finish or stainless steel, which can be wall or ceiling mounted or even set under the struts of an outdoor umbrella. They heat an area up to 6m and do not glow red or give off fumes.
Partying on a plate
The Lux by Starck range of disposable party ware, from David’s Castle, is designed to make it easy to hold food and a drink in one hand. Created by Philippe Starck, the design is based on a small spike on which can be set a range of different items such as glasses or bowls. The collection comprises round and square plates, cutlery, bowls, champagne flutes and cups.
Cool solution for al fresco eating
Spearmark’s EZ-Freeze range of products is designed to keep food and drinks cold and fresh. The serveware pieces such as the Lazy Susan and Chip n Dip incorporate freezer sections, while the drinks containers have freezer sticks to keep beverages chilled for hours. The extensive collection is available in an assortment of different designs, colours and sizes.
