Knives, cookware and tools and gadgets supplier Zwilling JA Henckels has added another senior executive to the UK sales team.
Andy Edgar has taken on the role of area sales manager for the south (housewares), joining Jaclyn Yeomans, who has the same role in the north, Martin Brown, key account manager (housewares), and Rosie Vaughan, who looks after the beauty side of the business.
Henckels has recently installed a large fixture for its products in Ryans of Galway, designed to boost turnover, and adding to work already done by the company at the store.
Says Matthew Denison, who heads up Henckels’ UK operation: “In November 2009, we installed for Ryans of Galway 2m of back wall including a glass presentation wave display cabinet, a Miyabi island glass display cabinet, a 1731 range display cabinet gondola island, a shelf fixture along with a standalone cooking work station which includes a hob and sink for in-store demonstrations.
“Across many outlets in central Europe, we’ve installed similar impressive fixturisation. The effect is always the same: assuming close cooperation throughout with the retailer, sales rise significantly.”
