Zwilling J A Henckels has always been recognised for supplying top quality professional kitchen knives. Now it offers a lot more, including top quality cast iron cookware, top end stainless steel cookware and a large range of professional tools and gadgets along with the knives, the latest addition to which is the Zwilling J A Henckels Twin Profection range.
Working closely with Milanese architect and designer Matteo Thun, Henckels has created a strong, contemporary knife that combines the classic values of a Henckels knife with state-of-the-art new technology.
The Sigmaforge Profection knife is manufactured from a single piece. The company says that the ice-hardened Friodur Profection blade typifies, too, what professional chefs expect from Zwilling J A Henckels. The wedge-shape blade provides optimal stability and an easy cut, and the full cutting edge allows effective cutting from tip to heel.
The curved bolster is especially safe for easy handling, while the three-rivet, full tang black handle is made from a tough synthetic composition.
The collection comprises eight knives and a sharpening steel. Also available are three Profection knife block sets with six, seven and eight pieces.
