Hemsley + Hemsley make TV debut on Monday

Foodie sisters Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley promise to ‘take healthy eating to new levels’ in their new series, which kicks off on Channel 4 at 8pm on Monday (May 9).

The pair has taken the wellness industry by storm since launching their London family-run business in 2010 for people who want to live healthier lives. They are the authors of internationally best-selling cookbooks ‘The Art of Eating Well’ and ‘Good + Simple’, and have a popular YouTube channel.

In ‘Eating Well With Hemsley + Hemsley’, the siblings aim to ‘turn simple ingredients into delicious, nourishing food to be enjoyed every day’. Hemsley + Hemsley recipes are gluten-, grain- and refined sugar-free.

Jasmine and Melissa said: ‘Join us on urban rooftop veg plots, singing ‘Fields of Gold’ amidst acres of quinoa, enjoying Peruvian food that makes your taste buds party and sampling artisanal vodka at the coolest drinking spot in East London.

‘Hang out with farmers, artists, chefs, gardeners, beekeepers and even our mum – people with a passion for food, communities and our environment – and then cook up our favourite recipes with us back at the ranch.

‘For any fans, you’ll recognise some absolute belters from ‘The Art of Eating Well’ and ‘Good + Simple’, plus some new ones created just for the show – including a new banana bread recipe.’

Recipes from each episode will be made available on Channel4.com for viewers to download.
