Hemsley + Hemsley at Selfridges is open for business

Foodie duo Hemsley + Hemsley have brought their food philosophy to life with the opening of their first-ever all-day café at Selfridges’ flagship store on Oxford Street in London.

Sisters Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley said: “A lot of enthusiasm, hard work and energy has gone into creating our first ever café and it fully reflects the H+H food philosophy, with incredible food that’s full of goodness and free from gluten, grains, refined sugar and hydrogenated vegetable oils. It’s everything we dreamed it would be!”

Located within the new Body Studio on the third floor of the department store, the 30-seater café is open from 9:30am-9pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sunday. It serves a day-to-night menu with recipes taken from Jasmine and Melissa’s international bestselling cookbook ‘The Art of Eating Well’ as well as its follow up ‘Good + Simple’, which hits shelves this Spring.

To celebrate the launch of the Body Studio, the Hemsley + Hemsley café will be hosting #Bodytalk: a series of talks and debates led by Suzanne Duckett, founder and editor of wellness blog ‘The Antidote’.

On April 20, Suzanne, Jasmine and Melissa will join nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson and psychologist Susie Orbach for a discussion on the psychology, ecology and fashionability of how to eat well, entitled ‘What food tribe are you?’
