Haus is boosting its consumer advertising this year with a campaign of full-page ads for its Wüsthof, Scanpan and Rösle products.

The ads have been running in Olive magazine all year, and start in Jamie magazine at the end of this month, The Christmas Magazine in October and in Delicious Magazine in November.

Haus says its decision to increase advertising spend was made after the company’s withdrawal from Spring Fair. It says it now wants to provide retailers with stronger support over the key sales period.

Managing director Paul Shelley told “I remember reading a feature by David Phillips in Housewares Magazine several years ago about the lack of advertising from brands, and still believe increased brand visibility, together with our ongoing supportive activities, will strengthen the marketing and service levels that Haus already pride themselves on offering.”
