Multi-channel retailer Argos launched its Autumn/Winter 2012 range on Saturday July 21, with over 43,000 products online and 9,000 new products in the latest catalogue – including 1,000 from Habitat.
The housewares brand’s products will feature in Argos’ Autumn/Winter 2012 range for the first time ever. Drawing on a heritage of design that began in 1964, Habitat has selected a range of 1,000 of its favourite products for this collection in Argos, which is available for home delivery or pick up in selected stores. Argos’ owner Home Retail Group bought the Habitat brand out of administration last June.
Other highlights from Argos’ Autumn/Winter range include new ‘Living’ and ‘Colour Match’ brands in homewares, while a ‘best value deal’ includes a Tefal non-stick aluminium 5-piece pan set at £35.99 (less than half price).
Argos managing director John Walden said: “We are very aware that these are difficult times with many still feeling the pinch, so with our new range launch we have focused on great value on daily essentials and the latest must-haves in areas such as technology and toys.”
