Grunwerg recruits new account manager

Housewares supplier Gruwnerg has named David Hester as its new account manager for customers in the North of England and Wales.

Leeds-based David has a background of customer sales and service, including two years working for a wholesaler in the food and drinks industry and a year in the homewares industry.

He said: “I’m very excited to join the salesforce at Grunwerg. This is definitely the right move for me.

“From a salesman’s point of view, it’s great that I can be genuinely enthusiastic about the products I am selling and with Grunwerg, this is definitely the case.

“They have a group of great brands and I’m very excited to get out there and push them. Having worked for wholesalers before, I have never really had the chance to sell brands of products properly and this is my chance to do so.”

Grunwerg sales manager Tom Basford said: “I’m pleased to welcome David into the company. He is a self-motivated, hardworking salesman and brings with him great positivity. He is settling into the role well and I’m sure you will join me in wishing him every success.”
