Gorenje serves up second course of #FoodSimplified campaign

Kitchen appliance manufacturer Gorenje has launched a new series of its #FoodSimplified recipe videos. 

Hosted on the company’s social media pages and YouTube channel, the first series of short videos have received more than 600,000 views since they were launched last March and have been shortlisted for four industry awards.

The new series is built on the brand’s ‘Life Simplified’ ethos. It incorporates the addition of a #SimpleFact in each video, to provide viewers with ‘fun and informative nuggets of information’.

Gorenje UK sales director Stuart Benson said: “To kick-start the new campaign we published a mouth-watering blueberry pancake recipe to tie in with Shrove Tuesday [Tuesday February 28], which received in excess of 6,000 views in just 24 hours.”

The company initially launched the campaign to increase online engagement and has since reported a 58% growth in community size. 

Stuart added: “The set of 10 new videos will be seeded out via our Facebook and Twitter channels over the coming months, and will include some new meals including a BBQ chicken tortilla pizza and a pesto and tomato squashetti [spiralized squash] dish.

“We’re delighted they have been so well received by our social community, as we aim to inspire people to get creative in the kitchen and make the most of their appliances.

“We also hope they act as a useful aid to our retailers, providing them with some unique content to share on their social channels.”
