Appliance manufacturer Gorenje has provided MTV with two of its Retro fridges, which are set to appear in the ‘Geordie Shore’ house.
The fridges will hit the small screen on April 7, when the programme’s 10th season launches on MTV. The popular series, which follows a group of young people from Newcastle living and working together in pursuit of the ultimate party lifestyle, has been a huge success since it made its debut in 2011.
Jamie Whitnell, forward planning producer for ‘Geordie Shore’, said: “The house is one of the most important parts of the show and anyone who watches it will know just how quirky it is. We spend a lot of time sourcing products for the kitchen and when we saw the Retro fridges from Gorenje we knew they would be an ideal match.”
Stuart Benson, national sales manager at Gorenje UK, commented: “The Geordie Shore house is characterised by its funky furniture and modern design, so our Baby Blue Retros fit in perfectly.”
The Retro fridge is available in 10 colours including Cream, Lime Green and Baby Blue. All the models in the collection boast A++ energy ratings, SuperCool Functions and MultiFlow accelerated air circulation.
