Celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo star in a Christmas TV special tomorrow night (Thursday December 21), alongside French maître d‘hôtel Fred Siriex, best known for appearing on Channel 4 series ‘First Dates’.
During the one-hour show entitled ‘Gordon, Gino And Fred’s Great Christmas Roast’ which airs at 9pm on ITV, the culinary pair will lay on a festive banquet for 100 ‘heroes of 2017’: members of the public and the emergency services who risked their lives during tragic events, as they went above the call of duty in 2017.
Working against the clock and assisted by several famous faces, the duo will compete to serve the most impressive menu. Fred will be tasked with running the service.
The deserving diners will then decide which chef should be crowned ‘Banquet Champion’, by voting for their favourite dish across each of the three courses.
The feast will be filmed at London’s Merchant Taylors’ Hall.
