Global Innovation Awards top winners named

This week saw the announcement of the five 2012/2013 retailer Global Honorees in the US Global Innovation Awards programme.

Global Innovation Awards top winners named

The winning businesses are: Linen Chest from Canada; Quality Living from Italy; Kookpunt from the Netherlands; Taylor Road Homewares from New Zealand; and Cooks of Crocus Hill from the United States.

The Martin M Pegler Award for Excellence in Visual Merchandising was awarded to Quality Living of Italy.

The panel of judges selected the five Global Honorees from the winning home and housewares retailers already chosen from each of 22 countries. This year’s winner from the UK was Dinghams, with cookshops in Salisbury and Winchester.

The GIA programme is sponsored and organised by Chicago’s International Home + Housewares Show and the International Housewares Association.
