The Garden Industry Manufacturers Association is calling for entries from housewares suppliers for this year’s GIMA Awards.
The awards are open to any products that are sold, or could be sold, through cookshops, department stores and hardware stores as well as garden centres, gift shops and DIY outlets.
Entries for new products and marketing, aimed at the 2012 season, close on the June 15 2012 and will be judged by a panel of buyers drawn from a cross-section of the trade. Details of all the categories, including those for housewares and homewares, can be found on the Events/Awards tab of the GIMA website.
Winners will be announced at the awards evening and dinner in London on July 12. Full details are again available on the GIMA website.
GIMA says the awards provide a great showcase for the industry to celebrate its innovation in product development, packaging and merchandising design and marketing initiatives, the impact of winning being felt long after the presentation night has finished.
