Allowing consumers into Frankfurt’s Tendence Lifestyle fair for the first time to enjoy new ideas for the kitchen and table has been deemed a success.
The inaugural Taste it! event at last month’s show opened its doors to consumers on the Friday and Saturday evenings. Celebrity cooking shows, tastings, workshops and decoration tips were arranged by over 60 exhibitors and attracted almost 5,000 visitors.
The event was designed to appeal to high-end consumers and had a positive reception from retailers. Messe Frankfurt now says it “will continue to work on and improve the successful concept of Taste it!”
Tendence Lifestyle, which presents new products for the autumn, winter and Christmas seasons from the kitchen, tableware, housewares, gift and homewares sectors, attracted 75,000 trade visitors. Next year, the show moves its dates to July 4 to 8.
