Four cookbooks in the best sellers rankings

The celebrated cookbook author and star of TV’s ‘The Great British Bake Off’ recently presented her own BBC2 six-part series. Entitled ‘Mary Berry Cooks’, the focus of the show was on home cooking. Her book of the same name features a collection of 100 recipes, including Mary’s menus for each episode of the show.

At number four is Jamie Oliver’s latest book called ‘Save With Jamie’ which features ‘his favourite tips and tricks to help you shop smart, cook clever and waste less’.

In fifth place is ‘The Art of Eating Well’ by sisters Jasmine Hemsley and Melissa Hemsley. Described as ‘a revolutionary cookbook that will help anyone who wishes to feel better, lose weight or have more energy’, it includes over 150 recipes – all of which are free from grain, gluten, refined sugar, high starch and are alkaline friendly. At number 10 is Quick Recipe Collection.

The bestsellers list is compiled by Nielsen Bookscan TCM, which collates real time sales from over 6,500 retailers representing over 90% of the UK book market. It appeared in the July 6 issue of ‘The Mail on Sunday’s’ ‘Event’ Magazine.
