Forward bookings for Spring Fair 2016 are tracking at 80%, reflecting the strength of orders placed at the recent 2015 event, according to show organiser i2i Events Group.

Some of the UK’s leading retailers attended Spring Fair 2015, which took place from February 1 to February 5 at the NEC in Birmingham. I2i Events Group said the fair ‘provided a strong transactional platform for the market that will see an estimated £3.6 billion worth of orders placed as a direct result of participation at the show’.

Senior buyers from leading independent and multiple retailers such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason, Fenwick, John Lewis, Heal’s, Oliver Bonas, Ocado, Steamer Trading Cook Shop, Toys R Us and Temptation Gifts – alongside over an estimated 63,225 (the final visitor number is subject to ABC) other industry buying professionals visited this year’s fair.

They viewed the wares of 3,000 exhibitors across 14 different market sectors: Gift; Contemporary Gift; Greetings & Gift; Children’s Gift, Toys & Gadgets; Christmas Gift, Floral & Seasonal Decoration; Gift, Home & Volume; Home; Table & Kitchen; Fashion Jewellery, Accessories & Luggage; Body & Bath; The Summerhouse; The Party Show and Retail Shop.

The next edition of Spring Fair will take place from Sunday January 31 – Thursday February 4 2016.
