As housewares supplier Forma House prepares to exhibit at the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival in Harrogate for the very first time this weekend, the company has announced that it will be presenting British drinkware brand Root7 at the show – alongside welcoming the Root7 brand to the Forma family at the same time.
On July 1, Surrey-based Forma House was appointed as the exclusive distributor of the Root7 brand to independent retailers and small chains in the UK.
Root7 managing director Rob Ingram commented: “We’re pleased to announce our new partnership with Forma House. The change in structure makes sense, as Forma House is in a great position to service independent retailers. The main factors that influenced our decision to work with Forma House include its attentive sales team, trade show attendance, excellent logistics and online ordering system, to name a few.”
Based in central London, Root7 was founded in 2011 and has since been supplying retailers in the UK and abroad including John Lewis, Oliver Bonas, Asos and a wide network of independent retailers, garden centres, gift shops and cookshops with its range of hydration products, glassware, barware and ceramics. As Forma House take the reins on UK independent sector distribution, the Root7 team will focus further on its ambitious plans for international expansion.
Organised by Clarion Events, the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival will take place from Sunday (July 14) to Wednesday (July 17) across the Harrogate Convention Centre and the grounds of the Majestic Hotel in the North Yorkshire spa town.
Pictured is the G&Tea Cocktail Gift Set by Root7: featuring rainbow-tinted borosilicate glass with shining gold detailing, the set includes an 800ml teapot, two tea cups, a flavour filter and a lid. Described as ‘perfect for mixing and serving in style,’ the idea for the set came to one of the Root7 design team whilst he was sipping cocktails at a gin bar in London. A tea-infused cocktail inspired him to scribble a design onto a napkin… and the G&Tea Cocktail Set was born.
