Groupe SEB says that its All-Clad brand’s latest collection takes high-end cooking to a whole new level with its five-ply technology.
The new Stainless with D5 Technology collection maintains the classic style of the original stainless steel pieces but introduces advanced performance and ergonomic enhancements.
The patented design is made of five layers of different materials – stainless steel, aluminum and magnetic stainless steel. These alternating layers of higher and lower conductive metals promote the lateral flow of cooking energy, enabling the pans to reach high temperatures and cool down in a matter of seconds, while eliminating hot spots.
The patented stainless steel core provides strength and durability while the added aluminium layers offer superior heat diffusion. The pans also promise precision surface contact and can be used on all heat sources, including induction.
All-Clad says the new range delivers up to 20% more even heating and is up to 15% more energy efficient than traditional bonded cookware.
All-Clad is renowned worldwide for its quality: it takes 30 specialist metal crafters to make one All-Clad pan.
