Organised annually by Datateam Business Media – publisher of Housewares Magazine and its digital partner www.HousewaresLive.net – in partnership with annual home and gift show Spring Fair, the Awards honour the UK’s most outstanding housewares companies and individuals for their innovation, creativity and business impact.
Suppliers and retailers can compete in several categories.
For suppliers, there are awards up for grabs for innovation in small electricals, bakeware, cookware, kitchenware, tabletop, packaging, food preparation and, new for 2019, sugarcraft. There are also prizes for best wholesaler, best supplier service and best salesperson.
For retailers, there are three new categories: Britain’s Best Garden Centre, Britain’s Best Online Retailer and Britain’s Best Family Business. These join the existing roll-call of retailer awards which include accolades for in-store demonstrations, staff training and window displays, along with best multiple housewares retailer, best independent department store, best independent cookshop, best housewares retail website, best retailer service and best housewares retail buyer.

The results will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony held the evening of Monday February 4 (during the Spring Fair) at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
