Part of the Fenwick department store group, Bentalls at Kingston-upon-Thames in Surrey is hosting children’s baking classes during the summer – alongside ‘sparkling cream teas’ for their parents.
The retailer said: ‘Children will love making and decorating their own cupcakes while parents enjoy a delicious sparkling cream tea. Each child will be able to make and decorate their own cupcakes with a variety of decorations, and either feast on them in-store, or take them home to savour later. They can also enjoy a soft drink while creating, so the fun doesn’t need to stop.
‘The adults’ ‘sparkling cream teas’ include a glass of prosecco, fruit scone and hot beverage to enjoy while the kids take part in their baking class.’
The event dates are Tuesday July 23, Tuesday July 30, Tuesday August 6, Tuesday August 13, Tuesday August 20 and Tuesday August 27. Classes start at 3pm for each day and last one hour.
Booking is essential for both children and adults, with tickets costing £9 per child and £12 per adult.
