Exclusively show to feature new ‘Launchpad’ initiative

The 2020 edition of the Exclusively show will see the debut of a ‘Launchpad’ shell scheme area, designed to meet the needs of smaller manufacturers and suppliers in the housewares industry.

Owned and organised by Brooke House Exhibitions, a wholly owned subsidiary of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA), Exclusively will take place on June 9 and June 10 at the Business Design Centre in London.

BHETA said: ‘With Exclusively’s proven track record for established exhibitor brands, the new ‘Launchpad’ will provide a level playing field for smaller manufacturers, enabling them to gain exposure for their products without the cost associated with a full-scale exhibition stand. ‘Launchpad’ offers new suppliers a simple to use shell scheme stand at a very affordable rate, together with a full marketing package included in the price.’

BHETA chief operating officer Will Jones commented: “One of the unique aspects of Exclusively is that it has always provided a level playing field for large and small brands. Our ‘Launchpad’ initiative allows the newest and the smallest businesses to get in front of some of the industry’s most significant buyers – and helps retail visitors find something a little bit different.”

Exclusively has over 150 exhibitors representing major brands and key product categories. For example, in 2020 tableware suppliers such as Denby, Royal Doulton, LSA, Robert Welch Designs, Arthur Price and Rayware will be exhibiting.

BHETA added: ‘Exclusively is a show that really delivers for its exhibitors, attracting key housewares, tabletop, small electrical and gift buyers from both the UK and overseas, including leading department stores, multiples, independent retailers and garden centres. ‘Retail visitor numbers to the show have been increasing over the past few years; a testimony to the show’s ability to continue evolving – presenting new opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike.

‘As a result of the many new and expanded initiatives, the event will be known simply as the Exclusively show, with all brands from housewares, electricals, lifestyle gifts and tabletop brands together in one premium space.’ (The event previously comprised two co-located shows in the same venue: Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical.)
