Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
Key European buyers, accompanied by the leading trade housewares titles which cover their territories, are to visit this year’s Exclusively Housewares show.
The organisers say invitations to the buyers and journalists have been issued as a result of exhibitors’ enthusiasm to do business beyond the UK.
“The show provides a perfect, focused showcase for overseas buyers to get a great feel for what the UK has to offer,” said show director Pam Plant.
“Some of the brands will be very familiar to them, others won’t, but we felt it was worth the investment to host this group to come and meet our fantastic line- up of exhibitors.”
So far, three buyers from Italian department store chain La Rinascente have confirmed they will be attending, along with another three from Spanish chain El Corte Ingles, two from Esse in Istanbul, two from Manor of Switzerland, two from Altom in Poland, two from De Bijenkorf in The Netherlands and buyers from A B Stockman, which has stores in both Finland and Russia. More acceptances are awaited from buyers from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
The trade titles attending include Forma & Furniture of Finland, Eisenwaren-Zeitung of Germany, CasaStile of Italy, Promedia of Poland and SBN Prensa Tecnica of Spain.
Exclusively Housewares takes place on June 9 and 10 at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
