EPE Group, the distributor of branded small domestic appliances and floorcare, has been appointed the distributor for Remington, moving the Bradford-based housewares supplier in to the personal care market.
EPE managing director Noel Pamment said: “I’m delighted to enhance our portfolio with the addition of the Remington brand. The personal care market in the UK is showing strong growth, and a brand with the heritage of Remington is a brand leader.”
Remington, which is owned by Spectrum Brands, has a wide product range encompassing shaving, grooming and hair markets. The brand’s portfolio includes hair dryers, flat irons/straighteners, rotary and foil electric shavers, personal groomers, mustache and beard groomers and haircut kits.
Noel Pamment added: “Becoming Remington’s distribution partner means that as well as being the UK’s leading premium distributor of branded small domestic appliances, EPE Group is the first and only choice for branded SDA.”
Harry Singh, EPE’s Group’s investment and marketing director, said: “The Remington brand very well known and is a good addition to our product portfolio. After a number of customers’ requests to include this as a product category within the EPE distribution network, we can look forward to working with our customers in the personal care market.”
EPE Group, which operates from an 80,000sq ft warehouse in West Yorkshire, is the exclusive UK distributor for a number of brands including De’Longhi, Kärcher, Kenwood and Philips.
The company also distributes a wealth of brands including Bosch, Panasonic, and Tefal, along with a number of managed brands including Ascaso, Blendtec, Bugatti Italy and Graef.
