Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
Autumn Fair International and housewares retailer Lakeland have joined forces with design innovation company Seymourpowell for The Next Big Thing Design Award, due to be presented at the show in September.
Young companies brimming with great ideas, cooks with an answer to kitchen problems and innovative designers with products that need bringing to market, are being asked to enter the competition.
The 12 finalists who win over Lakeland’s selection team will be offered free stands at Autumn Fair International 2012 and will also be featured exclusively in the next Lakeland range. The overall winner will also receive a day of free design-mentoring at Seymourpowell.
Anyone is eligible to enter for The Next Big Thing Design Award and entries must be submitted by the deadline of July 31.
Autumn Fair event director Rob Lozowski said: “Autumn Fair International is delighted to be associated with The Next Big Thing in conjunction with Lakeland and Seymourpowell. Uncovering the design entrepreneurs and innovators of tomorrow and subsequently featuring their work at the event in September will be very exciting and should create a real buzz on the exhibition floor.”
Autumn Fair International 2012 will take place from September 2 – 5 at The NEC Birmingham.
