Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
The 2011 Awards for Environmental Excellence are now open to entry for any housewares business proud of its green achievements.
Organised by www.edie.net – Europe’s biggest environmental website and sister to HousewaresLive.net – the awards are now in their fifth year and set to receive a record level of entries.
Both products and projects are eligible to achieve recognition, with the nine categories including Green Retail Initiative, Carbon Reduction and Green Corporate Initiative.
The awards are endorsed by the highly-regarded RSA accreditation scheme – one of only a handful of environmental schemes to be chosen for this honour. And winners of an Edie award have the opportunity to gain further accolades on the international stage, as part of the RSA scheme automatically gives access to the European Business Awards for the Environment.
Edie’s editor, Alison Brown said: “The Edie awards provide an important opportunity to celebrate success and recognise leadership and innovation in the environmental field. They give companies the chance to showcase their examples of best practice and enterprise.”
The deadline for entries is Friday April 28, and the awards will be made on November 3 at London’s Hurlingham Club.
