Eddingtons takes Poachies as Lakeland deal ends

Eddingtons has taken on the distributorship of Poachies egg-poaching bags, which, until now, have been available to consumers exclusively through Lakeland.

Eddingtons takes Poachies as Lakeland deal ends

The bags, manufactured by Quickshine, have been hugely successful for Lakeland, where they have consistently been amongst its top sellers. Under the exclusivity deal, which concluded at the end of 2011, the chain sold them under the Poachets name and will continue to do so, while other retailers will now sell them as Poachies.

Poachies promise to deliver a perfectly-cooked water-immersed poached egg. The construction of each mesh bag allows water to make contact with the raw egg without it leaking into the water, and there is no need to use butter or oil.

Each Poachies pack contains 20 disposable bags, which are presented in a counter display of 24 packs to sell at £2.95 each.
