Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
Sales at Dunelm rose by 19.9% to £405.7m in the 42 weeks to April 24, the company said today.
Like-for-like sales at the specialist out-of-town homewares retailer were up by 10.0%, and benefited from a strong Easter promotion.
Dunelm has so far opened new superstores in Dundee and Bolton during this half, and stores are set to launch in Taunton and Barrow in Furness next month, bringing total new openings for the year to 10.
The company now has 102 outlets, 92 of them superstores, and believes it can ultimately grow the chain to up to 200.
