Diethelm Keller Group has announced the appointment of Rene Stutz as Group CEO DKB Household with immediate effect. Stutz succeeds Will Symonds, who will be leaving the business to pursue other business interests.
Stutz joined the company in February in the capacity of Managing Director DKB Household UK. He has considerable experience within the housewares industry globally, including holding executive leadership positions as CEO Victorinox Swiss Army, President of Wusthof-Trident of America Inc and CEO AllClad/Spring Switzerland. His extensive industry knowledge will help shape the strategic direction of the business moving forward.
Stutz’s appointment follows a strategic review of the global business operations and will consolidate the senior executive function within the UK headquarters where R&D, marketing and supply chain teams are based. The move will ensure short channels of communication and swift decision making. Essential elements both during and after the current pandemic.
Stutz commented: “I’m delighted to accept this opportunity to help define and drive the future success of the business moving forward. We have some great brands in our portfolio and look forward to further developing them to meet the needs of emerging market needs worldwide”.
