DKB Household announces change of management

DKB Household has announced the appointment of Pierre Thomas as its new managing director.

Pierre, who joined the business in July, is a multicultural French national and has previously lived and worked in the US, in Singapore and in Switzerland. He has managed various businesses in the consumer goods industry and has a track record of international brand development working with manufacturers, as well as establishing retail concepts, licensing and franchising businesses.

Nick Cornwell, who has managed the DKB business throughout its transition from Cole & Mason to William Levene and then to Diethelm Keller in 2007, has stepped down from his role as managing director.

Nick said: “After 20 years it is the right time for a change – for both me and the business. I’m sure Pierre is going to do a super job in continuing to build on the growth and success we have had with our Cole & Mason, Zyliss and Culinare brands, as well as the Jamie Oliver and Ken Hom licences.”

Pierre commented: “I’m delighted to be taking over such a vibrant and passionate business at this key time, with so much potential ahead of it. I’m especially looking forward to engaging with all of our customers and partners over the coming weeks and months.
