Housewares brand Dexam has welcomed two new members of staff to aid sales growth.
Julie Ashby has joined Dexam as a Sales Executive, supporting the existing sales team with independent retailers and key retail accounts. Julie has worked within the housewares industry for approximately 15 years as a Sales Manager for Gilberts and more recently within the retail environment. Sales Director, Howard Bradley commented: “Julie worked for Dexam several years ago and we are delighted to welcome her back in the role of Sales Executive. Julie brings a wealth of experience and product knowledge to the role and she will be responsible for building sales with a selection of existing domestic and international accounts while developing new business, especially in the garden centre and gift sectors.”
Joel Crook, meanwhile, joins the Dexam team as eCommerce Manager. “Joel will be working initially to re-platform Dexam’s websites and will also be focussed on growing Dexam’s brand awareness with our online partners . This is a key area of growth that we have targeted and we are delighted to welcome Joel to the team to take our online partnerships to the next level”, said Bryony Dyer, Dexam’s Managing Director. Joel has over 10 year’s eCommerce experience working for GHD, Garmin and Field & Hawken in various roles. Joel added: “I’m really looking forward to working with the Dexam sales and marketing team to help grow our brand presence online. I’ve joined at an exciting time and cannot wait to see where we can take the brand.”
