Dexam has launched a competition for one cookshop retailer to win an in-store demo with chef Jeremy Pang, plus free School of Wok stock to the value of £250 RRP.
Three runners-up will win a pair of tickets to lessons at the School of Wok or, if distance does not permit, free stock to the value of £250 RRP
The housewares supplier recently teamed up with Jeremy, founder of School in Wok in London – Europe’s only award-winning Asian and oriental cookery school- to create the School of Wok range of woks, accessories and kitchen textiles.
The challenge for cookshop retailers is to produce an eye-catching and creative display on the theme of Chinese New Year 2017 (the Year of the Rooster) which falls on Saturday January 28.
The display, which can be in the window or in a central part of the store, should be in place by January 14 and remain there until January 31. It should incorporate props provided by Dexam. These include four Chinese lanterns, two danglers and a banner (which also fits onto the School of Wok display stand)
Interested parties should get in touch with Dexam to ask for the props pack which will get them started – but they can add to these to create something unique and individual.
Once the display is completed, photos of it should be emailed to caroline.holford@dexam.co.uk by January 16. Jeremy Pang will choose his winners, who will be notified by February 1.
If you would like to enter the competition, please email caroline.holford@dexam.co.uk to confirm your participation.
