Denby unveils colourful new marketing campaign

Housewares supplier Denby has revealed details of its new marketing campaign, entitled ‘Vibrant Colour’, which sees bold shades take the spotlight in home interiors.

The Derbyshire-based pottery manufacturer said: ‘Predicted to be one of the biggest trends over the next few years, [trend] forecasters WGSN are anticipating ‘maximalism’ [a reaction against minimalism] will move into the mass market by the end of 2019 and [trend forecasters] Scarlet Opus have also highlighted the emergence of the use of intense colour in the home. One of their key trend notes is the use of vibrant colour ‘to create an aesthetic that is both confident and uplifting’.

Denby designer Katy Lilley said: “It’s all about embracing mix-and-match by combining strong colour with bold contrasting prints to create a show stopping look that is Insta-worthy [when a picture is good enough to be posted on Instagram].”

Denby is backing its campaign with paid online media support to increase awareness to its target audience including social advertising, SEO [Search Engine Optimization] keywords, and a dedicated e-shot to its consumer database.

The company is also working closely with selected interior and design influencers to promote the campaign and has created a landing page, blog and social posts to highlight the trend. There is also specific in-store and online activity with key customers.

Denby offers stoneware pieces, hand-crafted in Derbyshire, in a range of tones
